Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, will once again become one of the political and sporting epicenters of Taekwondo globally. In this context, MASTKD will be officially there to provide institutional and journalistic coverage of a high-level agenda that will bring together the highest authorities in the sport on a global scale.
The representative of MAS: Media About Sport – TKD: Taekwondo will arrive in the United Arab Emirates on January 30, beginning a special coverage that will cover four consecutive strategic events, combining sport, leadership, and decision-making with international impact.

A high-level institutional agenda
MASTKD’s coverage will include:
- Workshop and orientation session – January 31
- World Taekwondo Council meeting – February 1
- World Taekwondo Gala Awards – February 2
- 13th Fujairah Open Taekwondo Championships – February 1-5
- 6th Arab Taekwondo Cup – February 7-8
This sequence of events makes Fujairah a hub where high performance, sports politics and the strategic projection of taekwondo into the future come together.
Direct dialogue with key figures in sports leadership
During its stay, MASTKD will have direct contact with key figures on the international stage, including His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, one of the major promoters of sports development in the region.
Exchanges are also planned with Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Alzeyoudi, president of the United Arab Emirates Taekwondo Federation and member of the World Taekwondo Executive Council, as well as World Taekwondo authorities, representatives of Continental Unions, and key leaders in the global taekwondo ecosystem.

Coverage that goes beyond the competition mat
For MASTKD, being in Fujairah does not mean limiting ourselves to simply covering results or automatically reproducing images, which we will do and consider necessary but basic, as it is something widely done by numerous media outlets.
MASTKD’s mission is different and clear: to observe, analyze, and report on the institutional, leadership, and political processes that shape the present and future of taekwondo worldwide. To be where decisions are made, to listen to those who wield real power, and to understand the internal dynamics that do not always make it into official communications.

MASTKD and its role on the global stage
Being invited to events such as the World Taekwondo Executive Council and the Official Gala is no small thing. It represents recognition of a media outlet that, for years, has established itself as the global benchmark for specialized information on taekwondo, with an independent, critical editorial line deeply committed to the development of the sport.
MASTKD’s presence in Fujairah reinforces its position as an influential actor in the global discourse, capable of building bridges between sport, management, and international politics, and of providing a perspective that transcends the immediate to understand the major movements on the world stage.

In Fujairah, MASTKD will not only cover events: it will read the context, listen to the protagonists, and report on what really matters.
