From World Junior Champion to the LA28 Dream: KPNP Backs Aiym Serikbayeva

Aiym Serikbayeva’s historic triumph at the Tashkent 2026 World Taekwondo Junior Championships marked the beginning of a new chapter—not only for the young athlete, but also for Kazakhstan.

Competing in the women’s −44 kg category, Serikbayeva captured the world title and became Kazakhstan’s first female Taekwondo world champion at either junior or senior level. She was also recognized as the tournament’s Best Female Athlete, confirming her status as one of the sport’s most promising young competitors.

KPNP has signed a personal sponsorship agreement with Serikbayeva, placing its support behind her transition from junior success to the demanding senior international circuit—with the dream of reaching the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games on the horizon.
