Teachout shines in Women’s -67 kg
Kristina Teachout (USA), bronze medalist at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, confirmed her strong form by winning gold in the -67 kg category.
In the final, she defeated Ozoda Sobirjonova (UZB), who earned the silver medal after a close contest.
The bronze went to Lena Moreno Reyes (ESP), gold medalist at the Charlotte 2025 Grand Prix Challenge, who once again secured a place on the international podium.

Bae wins all-Korean final in Men’s -58 kg
The Men’s -58 kg final turned into an all-Korean showdown between two-time World Champion Jun-Seo Bae and Jongmyeong Kim, champion of the Charlotte 2025 Grand Prix Challenge.
After a tight battle, Bae came out on top to claim the gold, while Kim secured the silver.
The bronze medal was awarded to Tamirlan Tleules (KAZ), who completed the podium with a strong performance.

Road to Paris 2026
With these results, Day 3 medalists also secured their qualification for the World Taekwondo Grand Prix Series 2 in Paris 2026, keeping their Olympic hopes alive.

The competition will conclude tomorrow with the Men’s +80 kg and Women’s -57 kg divisions, promising a strong finish to a week in which Muju has been the center of the taekwondo world.
