At the partial election held in Kukkiwon the morning of January 28, the candidate No. 2 Grandmaster Lee Dong Sup with 55 votes out became new president from a total of 75 votes; 44 from Korea and 31 from abroad defeating Lim Choon Kil former vice president who got 19 votes.
