ETU Reinforced Institutional Relations with Croatia During Official Working Visit

European Taekwondo Union received Croatian Taekwondo Federation Secretary General Petar Josipović for an official working visit that highlighted ETU’s effort to deepen coordination with its Member National Associations through direct institutional dialogue.

According to ETU, the visit included a series of meetings with President Sakis Pragalos, Secretary General Antonio Barbarino, Sport Director Jannis Mouroutsos, Office Director Chris Pragalos, and Honorary Presidents Stefan Klawiter and Mario Glasnović.

The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between ETU and the Croatian Taekwondo Federation, with particular attention given to joint initiatives, future projects, and the continued development of Taekwondo across Europe.

ETU said the agenda addressed several key areas, including support for athletes and coaches, the promotion and organization of high-level events, and the broader objective of raising standards throughout the sport.

Beyond the protocol, the meeting carried institutional value. It reflected ETU’s intention to keep its relationship with national federations active through working-level engagement rather than symbolic contact alone. In that framework, Croatia emerged as part of a wider structure of alignment that ETU appears determined to reinforce across the continent.

The visit was described as positive and productive, with both sides emphasizing unity, collaboration, and a shared vision for the future of European Taekwondo.
