Taekwondo in Venezuela continues with its 2026 Plan unchanged

While “Venezuela” once again dominated headlines and global searches due to international reports of a new political and military escalation, Venezuelan Taekwondo sought to send a message of sporting continuity and tranquility.

MASTKD consulted with the President of the Venezuelan Taekwondo Federation, Master Hung Ki Kim, with the aim of reassuring the global Taekwondo community. Kim appreciated our concern and responded:

“Everything is fine in Tae Kwon Do and its 2026 plan is still on track.”

The statement, brief but significant, came at a time when the country was the focus of international media attention—and, with it, an exceptional volume of digital interest—which made any institutional signal of operational normality and future planning particularly relevant.
