World Taekwondo and Integra Construction KZ sign three-year sponsorship agreement worth USD 1.5 million
Wuxi, China – October 26, 2025. World Taekwondo has secured a three-year sponsorship agreement with Integra Construction KZ LLP, one of Kazakhstan’s leading infrastructure development companies, providing USD 1,500,000 in financial support for WT initiatives through 2027.
Wuxi, China – October 26, 2025. World Taekwondo has secured a three-year sponsorship agreement with Integra Construction KZ LLP, one of Kazakhstan’s leading infrastructure development companies, providing USD 1,500,000 in financial support for WT initiatives through 2027.
The agreement was formalized during the World Taekwondo Championships in Wuxi, further strengthening the federation’s partnership with Kazakhstan as the country increases its international event portfolio over the next seasons.
Kazakhstan to host major World Taekwondo events
As part of this collaboration, Astana has been confirmed as the host city of the World Taekwondo Championships 2027. In addition, Kazakhstan will stage the World Taekwondo Grand Prix Final & Gala Awards 2026, consolidating its position as a strategic location in WT’s global calendar.
The signing ceremony was led by WT President Dr. Chungwon Choue and Kudrat Shamiyev, President of the Taekwondo Federation of Kazakhstan and Chairman of Integra Construction KZ LLP.

Dr. Choue emphasized that the partnership reinforces Taekwondo’s role as a sport that promotes social impact, peace, and inclusion, while Shamiyev expressed Kazakhstan’s commitment to supporting WT in global development initiatives through enhanced organizational and economic capacities.
