The year 2024 will be remembered as a milestone for Kombat Taekwondo, which expanded to 112 countries and launched the first-ever Minor, Major, and Semi-Professional Taekwondo leagues. These initiatives elevated the sport’s profile on a global scale, attracting millions of fans and redefining the boundaries of Taekwondo.
A key factor behind this growth was the strategic alliance with media giants like ESPN, ESPN+, and Disney+, bringing Taekwondo to an unparalleled global audience. In addition, the organization introduced innovative projects such as the Kombat Taekwondo Membership System (KTMS) and the KT Black Belt Certification Program, aimed at professionalizing and standardizing the Taekwondo experience worldwide.
