Daedo Analyzes Gen3 Performance Following the Rome 2026 Grand Prix
The Spanish company, official supplier of the electronic scoring system used at the event, highlighted the performance of its technology as well as the presentation of several Team Daedo athletes at the beginning of the road to Los Angeles 2028.
Daedo has released its assessment of the World Taekwondo Grand Prix Rome 2026, an event that brought together leading international athletes and opened a new competitive stage on the road to Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
The Spanish company participated as the official supplier of the Gen3 Protector and Scoring System, which was used throughout the competition in the Italian capital.
Held under the motto “Reborn, Together,” the event also coincided with the celebration of 60 years of Taekwondo in Italy.

Vito Dell’Aquila Wins Again in Rome
Among the results highlighted by Daedo was the victory of Italy’s Vito Dell’Aquila in the men’s -58 kg division.
The Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion claimed the gold medal after defeating South Korea’s Eunsu Seo in a final match over three rounds.
France’s Kimi Laurène Ossin, one of the latest athletes to join Team Daedo, also stood out by winning the women’s +67 kg division.
At 18 years old, the French athlete reinforced her growing status on the international circuit in a category featuring several of the world’s leading competitors.

Juan Milán Tests Himself Against the -80 kg Elite
Spain’s Juan Milán delivered another of the performances emphasized by the company in the men’s -80 kg division.
During the tournament, he faced consolidated international athletes, including United States World Championship silver medalist CJ Nickolas and Brazil’s Wuxi 2025 world champion Henrique Marques.
Team Daedo was also represented in Rome by Adrián Vicente, Jairo Agenjo, Violeta Díaz, Gabriella Blewitt and Artem Harbar.
Vicente and Agenjo arrived in the Italian capital after getting medals at the European President’s Cup, while the remaining athletes also advanced into the decisive stages of one of the most demanding events on the World Taekwondo calendar.

Technology at the Start of a New Olympic Cycle
Beyond the sporting results, Daedo’s presence in Rome once again placed electronic scoring technology at the center of international competition.
The company stated that it will continue developing the Gen3 system with the aim of strengthening the precision and reliability of the technology used in refereeing and electronic impact detection.
Daedo also confirmed that it will remain involved in World Taekwondo’s international calendar, which will include the Grand Final in Astana, Kazakhstan, among its next major events.
The Rome Grand Prix therefore opened an important stage on the road to Los Angeles 2028, not only for the athletes but also for the companies responsible for supplying the technology used at the highest level of international Taekwondo
