The 2026 Pan-AM President’s Cup will be more than just a sporting event. The arrival of international delegations in Lima will also provide an opportunity to discover some of Peru’s most iconic landscapes, flavors, and cultural expressions.

The Peruvian capital will serve as a meeting point for athletes, coaches, referees, officials, and families. Its historical heritage, coastline, and internationally renowned cuisine will allow the experience to extend beyond the competition days.

From the Ocean to the Desert

Among the options prepared for visitors is a sightseeing tour to Paracas, Ica, and Huacachina.

The tour includes a boat trip around the Ballestas Islands, where visitors can observe sea lions, birds, and other species characteristic of the coastal ecosystem. During the journey, visitors can also see El Candelabro, the geoglyph located on the Paracas Peninsula.

The experience continues in Ica, a region known for its wine and pisco production, traditional cuisine, and the landscapes of the Peruvian desert.

The tour concludes in Huacachina, an oasis surrounded by large dunes that offers hiking, tubular vehicle tours, and sandboarding.

An Experience for the Entire Delegation

International events also create opportunities for those accompanying the competitors. Parents, family members, coaches, and officials can take advantage of their stay to discover the host country and turn the sports trip into a shared experience.

The organizing committee has also made various lodging options available to facilitate planning for the teams arriving in Lima.

The Pan-American 2026 President’s Cup will bring together the continent’s taekwondo community, but the event’s appeal extends far beyond the competition arena. Peru will welcome its visitors with sports, history, nature, and a diversity capable of transforming every trip into a memory that goes far beyond the sporting results.
