Lima Set to Host President’s Cup America 2026
Lima, Peru, will host the President’s Cup America 2026, one of the most relevant events on the continental Taekwondo calendar, scheduled to take place from August 26 to 28, 2026, bringing together athletes, coaches, and delegations from across the Americas.
Peru will take center stage in the continental Taekwondo calendar with one of the most important events in the Pan American region.
The competition is part of the international structure of World Taekwondo, which holds continental editions of the President’s Cup in different regions of the world. In this context, the Lima event represents the 2026 American edition, reinforcing Peru’s role as a strategic stage for the competitive development of Taekwondo in the region.
The event will feature Kyorugi and Poomsae competitions and has been presented as a G3 Ranking Event, increasing its sporting relevance for athletes seeking international experience, ranking points, and projection toward the major stages of the global calendar.
Hosting an event of this magnitude also represents an important milestone for the Peruvian Taekwondo Federation, led by Master David Flores, as Peru continues to strengthen its presence within the Pan American circuit and position itself as a reliable host for international Taekwondo events.
