From Madrid 2005 to Wuxi 2025: twenty years of uninterrupted coverage of the most important world championships on the planet.
MASTKD confirmed its presence at the 2025 Wuxi World Taekwondo Championships, marking its 11th consecutive World Championships. Since Madrid 2005, when we covered a global event on site for the first time, we have been at the heart of world Taekwondo—always in the same place, but in different latitudes around the globe.

Madrid 2005, Beijing 2007, Copenhagen 2009, Gyeongju 2011, Puebla 2013, Chelyabinsk 2015, Muju 2017, Manchester 2019, Guadalajara 2022, Baku 2023, and now Wuxi 2025.
Each one marked a stage in our evolution, accompanying the history of the sport from the analog era to the digital revolution, witnessing firsthand the milestones that transformed modern Taekwondo.
We were part of the arrival of electronic chest protectors, video replay, and an organization that evolved exponentially. In Gyeongju 2011, Taekwondo took a historic step by broadcasting live on the Internet for the first time, and MASTKD made it possible, marking a before and after in the way the world saw this sport.
More than 20 years later, we continue to be the media outlet that was born for and by Taekwondo, but with a global reach that transcends languages, borders, and generations. In this new challenge, we will once again be where it all happens: on the tatami, in the stands, and in history.
Coverage will include daily matches, real-time results, exclusive interviews, technical analysis, and behind-the-scenes footage that has characterized every event we have covered since 2005. Because we don’t just attend the World Championships: we report on them, we live them, and we transform them into collective memory.
Wuxi 2025 will be our 11th World Championships, but above all, a new opportunity to reaffirm the commitment that brought us here: to be the most reliable voice in global Taekwondo.
MASTKD will be there, as always, where Taekwondo writes its history.
