The announcement was made by ETU President Sakis Pragalos, who issued a formal appointment letter highlighting Kotsifas’ commitment, governance experience, and outstanding service throughout decades dedicated to the sport.
A legacy built over decades
Kotsifas has served in key international leadership positions, promoting athlete support programs, advancing coaching structures, and helping strengthen Taekwondo institutions across Europe and beyond.
The appointment is effective immediately and granted in accordance with the ETU Statutes, marking a significant acknowledgment of his influential role in shaping modern Taekwondo administration.
