Guadeloupe, Caribbean — Kombat Taekwondo proudly announces the KT017 Grand Prix World Title Championships, which will be held on December 5, 2025, at the Palais Des Sports Du Gosier, one of the Caribbean’s premier event venues.

This historic event will feature 10 electrifying professional fights, including:
- 2 World Title Championship bouts
- 4 Main Card fights
- 4 Preliminary fights
The KT017 Grand Prix marks a defining moment in Taekwondo history, as it will be the first-ever World Title Championships for Kombat Taekwondo.
Kombat Taekwondo has revolutionized the sport of Taekwondo, transforming it from a purely traditional and Olympic discipline into a fully professional combat league. By doing so, it has opened a new pathway for Taekwondo athletes to build sustainable professional careers, providing them with the same opportunities enjoyed in other global combat sports.
Grand Master Rick W. Shin, President of both Kombat Taekwondo and the Professional Taekwondo Federation (PTF), expressed his gratitude to KT Guadeloupe President Sylvain Fostin for his leadership in organizing this historic event:
