Portland, OR – The weekend of June 22-23, 2024, was a significant event for Taekwondo practitioners as Terrence Jennings, High Performance Director of Kombat Taekwondo, conducted an eagerly awaited development camp at U.S. World Class Taekwondo in Troutdale. The camp was designed to enhance the skills and performance of athletes at all levels, providing a rare opportunity to train under one of the sport’s leading experts.
Portland, OR – The weekend of June 22-23, 2024, was a significant event for Taekwondo practitioners as Terrence Jennings, High Performance Director of Kombat Taekwondo, conducted an eagerly awaited development camp at U.S. World Class Taekwondo in Troutdale. The camp was designed to enhance the skills and performance of athletes at all levels, providing a rare opportunity to train under one of the sport’s leading experts.
The camp began on Saturday, June 22, with a detailed schedule tailored for both color belt and black belt athletes. The day opened with a Color Belt Sparring Seminar from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, where participants engaged in intensive sparring drills and techniques under Jennings’ expert supervision. This session was followed by a Meet & Greet from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing attendees to interact personally with Jennings and fellow participants.
The afternoon session, held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, was dedicated to Kombat Sparring for all belts. This inclusive approach ensured that practitioners of all skill levels could benefit from high-quality instruction and sparring practice. The day concluded with a specialized Black Belt Sparring Seminar from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, focusing on advanced techniques and strategic insights for experienced athletes.

Participants were reminded to bring water and snacks to stay hydrated and energized throughout the sessions. Full sparring gear was mandatory, with black belts specifically required to bring Daedo socks, and all attendees needed to wear a full white uniform.
