From February 8 to 10, the city of Vancouver, British Columbia will host the first event in the Pan American region that will award 20 important ranking points in the race to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Considered as one of the cities with the best quality of life in the world, Vancouver, which is also considered one of the safest in the world, is the ideal place to start the competitive year to score the most points in order to get a better place for the Olympic Games qualification, or the positioning for those who have already qualified for the Olympic Games.
From February 8 to 10, the traditional PATU Northern Region Open will have a special connotation on the preview of the most important event of the Olympic cycle. Therefore, attending this event will represent a stop of utmost importance in that race. In addition, for the Poomsae it will be an event that will mark a transcendent start for all those who attend in search of a better position in World Championship year.
Canada Place will be the venue in the city of Vancouver that will receive many Taekwondoins from all over the world. The organizing committee of the event together with the Pan American Taekwondo Union is already getting ready for the event to meet the highest-level conditions, with the intention of providing the best competitive experience for the attendees.
The electronic system that will be used for the event will be the Korean brand KPNP, both in Kyorugi and Poomsae scoring system.
