New appointments in the European Taekwondo Union
The European Taekwondo Union (ETU) has announced the appointment of two new committee heads for the development of Taekwondo in Europe. Nuri Shirali from Germany and Abilio Costa from Portugal have been appointed as the Chair of the Poomsae Games Committee and the Competition Supervisory Board Committee, respectively.
Shirali, an experienced member of the Taekwondo community, has been appointed as the Chair of the Poomsae Games Committee. As a discipline of growing importance within Taekwondo, the Poomsae competition requires great organization and planning to ensure the success of the event. Shirali, with his extensive experience in organizing high-level competitions, will undoubtedly lead and supervise the development of these competitions.

Meanwhile, Abilio Costa has been appointed as the Chair of the Competition Supervisory Board Committee. In this role, Costa will have the important task of ensuring that all competitions organized by the ETU are held in a safe, fair and compliant environment. Costa is an international referee with many years of experience.
