The Amateur Athletic Union of the United States is introducing a high-impact format for 2026: the AAU Taekwondo National Championships are opening, on an exceptional basis and for this year only, to athletes from all countries. The decision expands the reach of one of the most important events on the U.S. Taekwondo calendar and gives the championship a truly global profile.
